As you can see in the photo on the top the "piazza" -which means a public square in Italian- of Milan is the "Piazza del Duomo", where a grand cathedral sets place. The Duomo square is always crowded by people all around the world consisting of tourists and local people. The duomo has a strong sense of history. The design of it makes people understand the well-developed architecture of Italy. It's also like a symbol of Milan. When tourists come to Milan they always want to see this giant cathedral because when they post it everyone will know that they are at the home of fashion and design.
2. Quadrilatero D'oro

Quadrilatero D'oro is a world famous shopping district full of famous brands. It is translated as "quadrilateral of gold". It is home to luxury brands. The atmosphere is magical. It's a must to walk around and have a look at fashion. I think it's the most glamorous, elegant and fashionable place in Milan. If you even don't buy something I am sure that you will enjoy the display of the windows!
3. Brera

Brera is the artistic heart of the city. It's surreal atmosphere is full of artistic shops and painters with dreams. Additionally, Brera is home to "Pinacoteca" (Brera Picture Gallery) where you can admire Milan's famous painting collection. Also there are modern fashion shops like Marc Jacobs and Gucci. After strolling around you can enjoy freshly baked croissants and an espresso maybe! Who knows...
